Needed to replace my little boys broken phone. Customer service asked for two most frequently called numbers that my son dialed using the phone.
Well, my son only calls my number no other numbers. Walmart Family Mobile refused to register the new phone unless we provide a second number that my son called. They left us with no option. They would not let us talk to a supervisor nor a manager.
Total BS!!!
I asked them to cancel the account which they did immediately. Hilarious!!
Very disappointed!!!

Verified ReviewerThe Verizon painless transfer was neither painless or a transfer.
On January 4, 2024 I inserted the new SIM card provided by WFM. The phone (iPhone XR) migrated overnight.
In the morning I could make calls, but no data was present. I called 611611 for assistance. The support agents insisted I needed a separate line to complete the troubleshooting. No landline at my house.
I managed to find a landline over a mile away. I can't get to this line every day. It's winter in my area and I can't always get to the location due to weather.
It's now Jan 29, and still no data on my phone. My plan expires at month end and I AM NOT SATISFIED with voice only on my $50/month plan, which include unlimited voice AND data.
To make matters more frustrating, when I do get a transfer to the 3rd tier of support the Automatic Queuing System drops my call regardless of using the call back or waiting for an agent.
It's my opinion that WFM isn't aware their system is doing this.
Today I've tried 6 times to get to 3rd tier support and have been dropped 5 times. The one time I got through, the agent couldn't hear me. I'm ready to drop this service and not look back.
Just to be fair, the service prior to the migration was flawless. I would have recommended any one to subscribe.
Not now.
This is a bottom of the list tech support company, where agents have to "apologize for your trouble" every 30 to 60 seconds while they attempt to fix your issue. such a waste of time.

Transfer service
Yea I'm pissed. I have my security pin number for my account but it wont allow me to cut my service off on my phone that got stolen without knowing the numbers to most frequently called people, which I couldn't access because my phone was stolen.

A day after my bill was deducted from my bank account my phone stopped working. I couldn't make or receive calls or texts.
My phone had a pop up that wanted me to sign into Verizon. I called customer service and went through their dumb resolutions that never work. Removed the sim, turned off and on, reset connections, waited 30 minutes, etc, etc. I spent nearly 12 hours of my day with no resolution.
I was hung up on no less than 4 times. Finally, after all of this I asked for a refund for my prepaid month of service. That's when I was really given the run around. I needed to set up my email, I could not have my account number etc.
This company has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I shouldn't call your company and hear 100 other conversations in the back ground.
I shouldn't have to be transferred to five different people and explain my situation from the beginning to each of them. I would like my prepaid month off service for the 2 lines I transferred from your company.

Need to stop the pending transaction
Are used to date somebody and Ive had to change every single pre-pre-credit card and every regular credit card that Ive had and he still seems to get in there and get his hands on it. Im going to court with him for a lot of other things right now too and now on my Chime card, he just paid his phone bill.
His number is910-542-**** He did not have permission to use that card and they are gonna be consequences. I have even had to change my phone number and get a hold of area code phone number and he still manages to get into my stuff.
I need the pending transaction to get taken off of my card. My phone number is 716-462-**** And my name is Casandra Liddle

I bot a family mobile sims card kit with a months service time for 25 bucks
An wen I called to set up a new account an activate my bring your own phone account, an they asked my name an the IMEI number for my device, an instead of asking what number I wanted to transfer over, they asked me what was my 4didget lock code for my account, I kept telling them I don't have an account I don't know what your asking me for so instead of activating my device an number they added my service time to a non-existing number so I lost that time an have to buy another months service time to activate my device with the right number, it wasn't my scree up it was there's why should I have to spend more money?...
